The California State Bell

The publisher of this blog is pleased to announce the Beta Edition of the California State Bell ( http://www.CaliforniaStateBell.com ) website.

This website is named after the California State Normal School (A.D. 1881) bell, which commemorates that institution, founded by the California Legislature on May 2, 1982, and now known as “San Jose State”. This site, which will take a statewide perspective on the CSU, is dedicated to: (a) California State Normal School and California State University (CSU) historic preservation; and (b) reform of the CSU system for the benefit of all CSU students, alumni and professors.
